Zhimin is an independent software contractor (or called consultant) lives in Brisbane, Australia. After 10 years of software development, continuous learning, I developed a broad knowledge and experience in designing/implementing high quality software applications.

My expertise include:
  • Debugging development processes and improving team’s productivity.
  • Deisgn and implement easy-to-maintain automated testing
  • Enterprise application design / implementation
  • Web portal development
  • Using XML and various web standards

I am currently working on QLD Police’s Integration project. Before this, I have worked on a large J2EE portal project for Brisbane City Council (2002.3-2005.6) and ourbrisbane.com (2001-2002). Apart from the above, the career positions I previously held include software engineer at Distributed Systems Technology Centre, followed by Nortel Networks for about 4 years altogether, and as an associated lecturer at University of Science and Technology Liaoning, China.

I was listed as a known Metadata researcher by UK ontoportal, and invited as a paper reviewer for the WWW8 conference. I spotted a XML schema error in W3C RDF Draft Spec.
